Memorial Day Challenge and "Block Party", Monday May 30th

Memorial Day ThrowDown and Party

 

Come join us on Memorial Day for the Murph Challenge starting at 10 am and stay for a "Block Party" - Pot Luck BBQ (which basically means I'll bring a grill or two and ya'll can bring the food or "beverage" item of your choosing....) I think this will likely commence around 12pm-ish!

 

Please post if you'll be there and what you are bringing on the whiteboard at the gym or in the comment section below!

 

"Murph"

Run 1 mile

100 Pull Ups

200 Push Ups

300 Squats

Run 1 mile

 

Optional 20 pound weight vest aka "Non-Pussy Murph"

And for those who have never done the full "Murph", here is a bit of inspiration from the Honey Badger....you should just not give a "shit" and just do it :)

I'll have to find a scale for pullups, maybe 100 Thruster? And count on some type of Paleo meat product!

I am going to give it a try...hopefully my calf will be loosened up and I'll make it through the runs. I hate unplanned rest days. Will bring fruit and adult recovery beverage.

I'll be there. Is it legal to bring a dessert to a CF function? with all you zone/paleo/diet people?

Yea that honey badger does set the bar pretty high. I will bring some sort of meat probably, it's all ya need to get through the day! =-)
