Bringing Our CrossFit Community Together

Only 1 more day left in the Referral Contest - they are competing to win 12 months of CrossFit......

We have lots of folks who have referred 1s and 2s and we really appreciate everyone's referrals to us!

Here is how the leaders are looking:

Michelle - 4 signed up referrals

Chris W. - 4 signed up referrals

(Thanks to everyone who has made referrals to us!)

So it looks like our referral contest will be decided tomorrow at the Open House tomorrow.

>>RSVP for the OPEN HOUSE here

Or will it?

I am deciding what to do if it ends in a tie. And I thought I would see what you think.

I only see 3 possible outcomes:

1.) They could both win

2.) They could share the 12 months and split it into 6 each

3.) We could break the tie by comparing the total number of overall referrals made by Chri's referrals to Michelle's referrals

I don't know about you, but I am not a big fan of "everybody wins" mentality. I think there should be a winner and a loser.

That's why I like option 3 the best.

I don't mind the "everybody wins" mentality, at least in this case. They both hustled to win the contest and there were no specific guidelines if a tie were to result. And Troy, since I'm sure you budgeted to give away only one year, I would just split it down the middle and give each person 6 months. Lesson learned for the next contest. They both did a great job...option 2 is my vote!

I vote for option 1! Chris has been a gym member for much, much longer than my 3 months, so he has a huge advantage for option 3. I started working on these referrals long before there was a prize offered. I encourage people to join, because I want the best for them. And this gym is the best!

I sound like I'm campaigning here, so I might as well go all the way and say, "Vote option 1!" :)

I don't like the "everybody wins" mentality either.
I think 3 is the best option if it results in other new referrals being part of either Chris or Michelle's chain and deciding a winner.

I agree with Kellie, either 1 or 3. If I absolutely had to choose only one, I would go with 3. Great job guys!

I would say 1 or 3.
1: Those that got the most win the prize as stated in the contest rules. There were no specifics around ties, so if 2 people happen to get more than everyone else, they won.
3: The new referrals referring new people could have been influenced by the original referrer (Chris/Michelle) so that could be traced back to them.
