Olympic Weightlifting

Olympic Weightlifting is an amazing, explosive sport that by itself produces athletes who can out vertical jump Olympic high jumpers, and out sprint Olympic sprinters in the first 40m.


Learning the movements in the Olympic lifts develops coordination and body control as well as the ability to explosively extend the hip - an attribute that is almost by itself enough to create elite performance in most sports.


Anyone who is serious about maximizing their CrossFit or sports performance should not miss these classes.


Coach Richard Fleming coaches the Olympic Lifting classes at CrossFit Plano.  Coach Fleming has over 48 years experience in the sport, he loves this sport and is very passionate and knowledgable about everything weightlifting.  He is a USA Olympic Weightlifting Regional Coach and he has successfully prepped athletes for the USA Olympic Weightlifting team.


Join Coach Fleming at CrossFit Plano to learn Olympic Weightlifting from the ground up, starting with the basics.  Classes are held on the following days:


Monday and Wednesday - 6:00pm

Saturdays - 12:00pm


Cost: Non-Members - Drop In is $25; Members - Counts same as a regular group class
